Exclamation Please Help me: Oil Change in my SHO...

Going to do this next weekend. So far I understand that I need to take the oil out through the dipstick and extract it from there. Filter looks easy to get to also. Now question, I was reading in the manual that I need to put some oil to a bolt near the supercharger and fill it up and then 100% change the gasket on that bolt or something to that effect. Someone please help, thanks!

You only need to mess with that bolt if you have had the supercharger apart.
The oil pump feeds the oil from the engine to the supercharger.

You only need to lube the SC if it has been disassembled or if the ski hasn't been run for a few months.

Also, consult your owners manual. Changing oil is detailed in there.

When changing oil filter. watch your right arm on the metal gasket sticking out from the exhaust manifold. It's sharp as a razor. A lot of us are scarred for life.

I will keep that in mind, will grab some gloves also. Thanks for saving my right arm.

Yeah I always let the skis run on the hose for 5 min at least before doing the change.

Remember this also: Suction out oil until it runs dry, wait 5 minutes or so and extract again. I usually do this about 3 times and usually get close to 3 qts. out. When you first put your suction tube down into the dipstick channel you will hit a thud..make sure you push it further to get all the way to the bottom.
