Ultra 150 Oil In Carb and Case
I just tore down an Ultra 150 motor with a bad cylinder. On the bad cylinder, the carb and case have a lot of oil in them. The other 2 cylinders are fine. Is the bad piston allowing the oil to be siphoned through the carb into the case. I have seen carbs with a lot of oil in them and never really thought of why. Does anyone know if this is the cause or is there something else causing this?

Don't know for sure, but there is a check valve on the oil line fitting. I've read of someone else finding the check valve machined wrong, but I think it was not letting oil in. Anyway, if the valve is missing, it would seem that it would let in a lot of oil.
