Look at the mods on my 185 in my signature. 4" air intake is a HUGE improvement over stock, for acceleration, hole shot, and over all performance.

    Welcome to the Hulk site!

RXT fpr ($30), RXT ECU ($200 used), RXT Flywheel $(80 used), and SCer gear change ($50) and you will be in love all over.
Yes, it takes a bit of know how and some basic understanding of mechanics, but it will wake your boat up. Oh and a prop pitch
    to the new 8200

You will also need 215 pump with this setup.

Na, Just re-pitch the prop like I did Rays Wifes. Only difference isI usedaX SCer, 42 lb injecters and a Stock RXT intake manifold with IC.

Gotcha, I was thinking prop dia was smaller on the 185 (my bad, been awhile since I had the 185 ski).
You Will have to change prop to fit RXT driveshaft.
Still would be Good to upgrade from the plastic pump.

It is smaller, but in order to run a Bigger pump you need the RXT driveshaft, prop, and wear ring.

Or just re-pitch the stock GTX prop or buy a SOLAS GTX prop.

    UNO,

    Here is your answer:

    Riva Pump Wedge, 2-degree/155mm ID, SD, RXP/RXT/GTX [RS23050] - $119.95 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

The wedge goes in between the pump and venturi nozzle, raising the nozzle 2 degrees UP, which raises the bow of ski higher, allowing the ski to handle better and gets the ski riding mostly on the ride plate. It is a "poor man's" VTS (variable trim system) with only one setting......... It DOES work on a GTX as advertised.

The 1972 Chevelle was a 3 year father-son project, total frame off rebuild, we are very proud of it! I helped a buddy do a 72 also, another 3 year project.
