    what do you think?

hey guys i have read alot on here, but havent done anything to my 09 fzr yet, so i was thinking since i dont have much money, and i want to keep this ski reliable, my mods for this winter will be....

    r&d intake grate
    ribbon removal
    filter kit
    free flow exhaust
    vx rideplate
    R2- reflash

will this be reliable? and will i pick up atleast 8mph?
The ski is stock and will gps 68 mph on a half tank of fuel, and i ride on a lake in hendersonville Tennessee.

thats a great start, i think you might need a supercharger wheel for that much speed.

Before you add a bigger wheel or even in stock form you should buy a BOV. But for a reliable quick ski I think your of to an excellent start.

I think 8mph is wishful thinking get the RIVA intake grate I think that thing can withstand a nuke fallout... i started out in your shoes just wanted a few things but once you do one thing you need to add another part... then another and another.. BROTHER!!!!

I'm probably going to jinx myself but my ski just made 150 hrs while out testing this weekend running on the same original clutch that came on the ski (knock on wood) and I've had most of my mods since around 80 hrs.

And u might want to look into some cooling as well. And u will need something to cool down the air from that c3 so u may want a power cooler. And I think the c3 is very clutch friendly. No worries with the c3.

8mph sounds do-able with the correct prop/pitch. I picked up 3.0mph with just air mods on my ski and a skat. Not to mention I was only turning 7500. VX ride plate is good for about 3 + the R2 should get you close.

I got 8 with the above mods and a correct prop. Don't forget to revove the foam under the cowl also. Take a look at this exhaust mod for free http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/yama...w-o-noise.html Tommy Jordan
