    09 rxpx upgrades?

I have a 09 rxpx I purchased new last summer. I am looking for better acceleration more than top end as I mainly ride on Lake Erie and it is not usually flat enough to get to top speed anyway. What can someone more experienced than I tell me of this plan:

    4" air intake
Eliminate resonator box (probably a RIVA pipe)
    15-22 SOLAS impellar
    Grate (recomendations?)

Has anyone used the RIVA intake modification that eliminates a filter inside the intake manifold?
Is the pump wedge kit worth it? (I weigh about 150lbs if that matters)

I sold a 03 GTXSC to get this ski. I had installed a stage 1 kit on it, so I am not completely ignorant, just don't want to waste the $ if some one has done this and can offer advice.

    Thanks!

    4" air
    remove flame arrestor
    fill ride plate holes
    R & D grate
    wedge
    83mm nozzle
    15/22

Do these and you should be 75mph+ with better acceleration.

Thanks. I assume you fill them (ride plate holes) with some type of silicone? What is and have you experienced this "stuffing" condition I've read about? Nosing over at 70+ mph sounds like a good way to ruin a day at the lake!

Fill the ride plate holes with JB water weld. You dont have to worry about stuffing till you get to around 80.

IMO I think the intake manifold mod is a pretty good mod. It gets rid of the restrictive filter inside the manifold. It may be a little tricky to remove but it's worth it.

I just snapped, you said rough water. Get a Worx grate. They are supposed to be better in rough water than a R & D.

IMO keep the stock 87 mm nozzle....Since you would rather have good acceleration rather than top end...

You guys are more expensive than all 3 of my ex's! Parts ordered:

    4" air intake
Riva exhaust pipe (more show than go sounds like)
    2* wedge and extension rod
    Worx grate
    15-22 Solas
    Groco strainer
Parts for a PVC catch can

    Freebies planned:
    Reverse bucket mod
    Smooth ride plate holes
"Knife" the trailing edge of the pump veins
Drill the grate/plate/shoe in hopes of NEVER stuffing

Plan to keep the 87mm nozzle (at least initially) for good hole shots
Not even considering tucking behind the seat, I'll paint ALL the chrome if it's still too slow!

So much for the 2nd and 3rd year on that warranty!

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully in the water by May.
Oh yeah, thanks for the GH coupon also.

It depends on your Dealer, but most wont void your warranty with those mods.
