    Considering buying a vxr

I'm not looking to have an 80mph + machine that is always having to be wrenched on. I like that the VXR is relatively small (for pwc these days), and it does not have a supercharger. I like things simple and reliable. Do you think with some ride plate, air intake, exhaust work, and impeller the VXR might run 75?

I would think that or close to it....The one we rode at the dealer meeting late last year did 66 on GPS full of fuel and with me a 285lb rider on it....

Dont know about mods Brandon, but we checked them out at the Houston Boat show and it is a sweet looking ski.

I think 75 won't be a problem. There's lots of cool stuff on the way for them. Check it out

I'm saving some cheese to get a VXR too. They're some bad ass little skis.

I had looked at the parts currently available from Riva, and read an article somewhere that those parts will put the VXR in the 73mph range. I bet by adding trim and shimming the ride plate, 75mph is there.

And this is just the beginning... I'm betting this thing will surprize quite a few people without ever being turbo/supercharged...

CHIT, how much are these going for, has anyone bought one and where?

    Do they ride dry?

No brainer for me too. Picking up my VXS tomorrow. It comes down to the 3 S's - - Simplicity, Savings, Size.
I think she will be a good addition to the Port side of the Trailer . . .
