Not really. Try riding at 4100+' in the summer when the RAD is 7K+ feet.
You will see about a 3% drop in power were you are.

Ok. After getting rid of the Raider Im trying to get into the GPR game and am learning all I can about how the hull reacts to different gull setups. Ran 62.7 mph on the 1300 and thought they ran faster until looking at yamaha's servicing manual for 05. Said 03-04 ran 63 and 05' 64.7mph. Just trying to see what recipe would work for the 70mph barrier without any engine work (Ran high compression head on the 1100 back in the day).

The highest lake I have rode at is miller lake it is 5,633. My seadoo ran like shit and it felt like it was running on one cylinder. But it is jetted for sea level. I ride at 4,700 to 3,500 around here and you can tell the differences. So when I go to a lake at 2,500 to, 1500 ,The ski run pretty good. At 1,500 to sea level the ski feels like it built. At 1,200 it should not be that bad. It is nice to experience the the differences. Most people haven't and they don't know what it is like.

Water woody do you mostly ride at Lahontan reservoir? We almost stop on are way threw back from Havasu ,back in 2001. Just not enoughs time. Do you ride on walker lake or pyramid lake or topaz lake too? I have seen some of the waves off waker. Pretty rough. I google earth Rye patch Reservoir it look pretty good and not to far from you. I will have to check it out next road trip.

I'm riding at 5200ft. High elevation sucks, robs like 18-20% depending on the DA. The only thing good about this altitude, is that with less HP, parts/engines/drivelines don't break as easy.
