    Gpr 1300 helpppp please

    hello guys I have a Yamaha gpr1300 04 it has full stage 2 from riva the problem is I was riding and decided to go jump some waves but my Girlfriend took out the cooler looking compartment from the front cause she had some stuff in there Beer well a long story short my ski turn off for a while then turn back on when i got to the beach were she was it wont turn off with the red button or taking off the key so had to disconect the battery to turn it off then when i connect it back on it is always trying to start no key no nothing is trying to start but it doesn't actually start i already disconnected all cables from that front area a blow them with my compressor any other ideas pleaseeeeee helpppppppppppppppppppppp....

    Sounds like you have some wire connectors with some water in them. Take all the connections appart and look for water.

    sounds like to start stop button is stuck on

    or

    the starter solenoid, that is in the black box with the CDI and coils, is stuck on


    as already suggested maybe caused by water

    replace the starter solenoid, i had a ski do the same thing solenoid was hung closed

    I was thinking the solenoid too but wouldnt that make the starter spin all the time?

    to you carb'd GPR guys... what else will make the starter spin all the time?

    thanks u guys for the suggestions i took it to a shop close by and tomorow the guy is gona tell me ill let u guys know but thanks let see if any of the things u guys suggested match the mechanic thank u again
