Billge runs as soon as battery is hooked up
I just picked up a 99 slh 700. The overall condition is really nice and it appears the ignition has been updated. I'm trying to figure out why the billge pump runs constantly once the battery is hooked up. I looked at the wiring in the ebox and everthing looks ok. Has anybody else ran into this problem?

First make sure it's not wired to a 12V constant.
Second, check the LR module. If it shorts internally it may ground the circuit.

Normally Orange should not have voltage until the engine is cranking or running.
To check this, unplug the Orange wire coming from the LR module (and only that Orange wire). If that fixes the problem, then the LR module is suspect. Check for good ground on the LR module, and replace the module if the ground is good.
The other thing to check is the Bilge button, if you have one, on the handlebar. If it shorts you will get constant power to the bilge pump.
