    4-tec non s/c mods?

I was looking into a rxp non s/c, (hey, the price is right) but i don't seem to find any performance mods for it. I mean something to make more power out of this motor without adding a turbo or supercharger. can someone point me in the right direction? also thought about a GTI and hopping that up also. not looking for 90mph but 70+ would seem ok(for now).thanks

well considering a stock 215 is only gonna get up to high 60's, getting into the 70's without a SC'er would be pretty difficult. i could see low to mid 60's, but not a whole lot more than that.

i'm sure it can be done but probably not worth the R&D and money since S/C and turbos are already available. but it would be easier to build up a motor than modifying driveshafts and such to accept S/C providing someone has done all the research. oh well back to looking for an rxp.

Just buy yourself a 215 or 255 boat right off the bat and save yourself time, aggravation and money..the price may ''seem'' right, but I think you will wind up regreting it down the road..... after you get your ass smoked by a yamalog or something....

    I would have to agree.
Its tough getting a 185 hp gtx to mid 60's MPH.
Spend the extra to get a 215, for the speed your looking for.
