looking for parts for new1999 gp1200
hey all, first post!!
i just bought a 99 gp1200 and love it!! un fortunatly the impeller is a little worn so the hook up isnt that good at the moment so have ordered a solas concord 13/19 which i should get in a week or two, its a lil bouncy and iv been reading bout spacing the two bolts at the back on the ride plate down.. roughly 3mm? does that sound rite? i mainly ride in small chop on beach.. but a little on the river. also im bout to smooth over all the holes under hull (was gona use mariene sillicon?)
does any one have any aftermarket grates they want to sell? iv read that the top loader ones are the best?
my out look with the ski is to keep the motor standard.. maybe get 3 little pod filters for intake, i would like to try not loose any top speed but want to focus on my "hole-shot"
im still sifting through all the threads atm trying to learn all i can... if you have any tips please feel free to help me out and point me in the rite direction
im in adelaide, australia. and its ALOT cheeper for me to buy all the stuff i want from america atm.. if you know anywhere i can get cheep parts let me know too.. iv found my new solas prop for aud $240inc delivery, where as the cheepest i could find it localy was $400 from our solas whearhouse in aus! lol
cheers in advance!!

The aquavane intake grate is a good choice. Spacing the rear ride plate bolts will reduce porpoising, but most likely will scrub a little top speed off.
