'08 Oiling System Mod on RXP

    Hi Guys,
greetings from the UK. I have an '05 RXP and was wondering what the difference is between the '05 & '08 Oiling System . I've read on here that one or two RXP owners have had the '08 System installed on their older RXPs. Is this a simple transplant and what sort of costs are involved ?

I've also heard that there is an aftermarket fogging system available ? Would it be compatable with either '05 or '08 Oil System ?

I love my RXP so anything that can be done, prior to the start of the season, to make it more reliable/live longer has got to be worth looking into.

    Lee.

It is simple to do, but it takes some mechanical skills and a few good tools. You have to pull the motor
and the PTO houseing. SO this means you will need a Driveshaft removal tool, Engine hoist, and an engine alignment tool. Hope this helps.

Stock charger I wouldnt bother, it helps on any charger but it really helps on the big chargers where the clutch has alot of work to do.

Im in the UK as well, I have it done to my RXP.

Looking at BigDaddyRXP posting on page 5 Im not sure he removed the engine, only loosend off the eng mounts.
I know it's a great thing to recheck eng allignment but is it critical if not removing the engine and putting everything back where it was?

Let me know how that works out for ya. I Just remove the engine and do it on the lift. It is so much Easier.
