    Checking exhaust valve on 06

So I have read every valve/head related post I can find and I know I am looking for the exhaust valve to start with 75 and not 72.
Question is do I only need to pop off the valve cover to read these #'s on the valve stem or do I need to disassemble further?

they are at the top of the valve, right above the keeper groove. the way the retainer sits, you most likely will have to remove the retainer to see the numbers.

Dont need to remove the retainers to see but you will most likely need to remove the rocker shaft and a magnifying glass will come in handy.
Whats the build date on the ski?
