What you want is a dusty left-over 2009 or 2010 with zero hours. Unless you have to have a 2011 for some reason...

I bought a brand new, leftover '09 FZR last year for $9999 + 6% sales tax. Find a new old stock '09 or '10. The dealer I bought mine from even had a brand new '07 GP1300R.

They have leftover 2010's here but they want 12,000 plus NY Tax. Sounds not so great since I see one of you got 10,000...

I purchased 2 leftover 09's in 2010 for just under $10,500 Out the door. I am sure you can get a 2010 for a great price if you shop around. Look for a boat show in your area, thats a great time to buy.
