2000 Yamaha SUV starting issues
Just installed a remaned engine. Hooked up battery (fully charged). I wanted to see if it would turn over. I had no intention of starting it. First push of the start switch and it fired immediately. Held switch for maybe 2 seconds.
After this tried to start again and all I get now is a click noise and engine does not turn over. Reset the starting codes etc. Also tried to jump start it via the manual procedure and the same clicking noise. If it's not the battery how do I troubleshoot this?

If you have a test meter you can check the power to the starter by connecting the positive prong to the starter wire and the ground to the motor. then press the start button. I was just wandering if you run premix and how did you prime the oil pump.
