How much speed do you gain with the wedge? Has anyone done just this mod and GPS'd? I'm thinking about trying one on my ski. I think it'd help the pump and the angle of my rideplate match and get additional lift.

The wedge is usually good for 1 mph gain. Im about to put it back on Careys ski.

Don't forget that when you install the wedge, the adjustment changes, hence the new rod is adjustable. I've found the best is from true level to about 1 degree up. Then you can adjust the rod to have the indicator match to you adjustments. Terry

Wedge is for sure 1mph. And the skegs got me .7 The "lift" and tracking the skegs provide though is worth it, even if no speed gain was realized.

The guys in Gulfport, MS (sleeplessnMS & Sandrock) that are running 82+ MPH are both using my skegs and Riva wedge's.
