    Rxpx rpm

Hi all took my bros rxpx 2008 out for the 1st time today and it's only hitting 8330rpm here's the mods

    Remapped 8650 ecu
    valve retainers
    50 pound injectors
    4 inch k&n filter
    light weight seat
    stock prop
    worx grate

should he be getting around 8500 rpm ???.

Look forward to your replys. Thanks

I'm guessing he needs to pitch his prop correctly

Stock is around a 15/20. I would pitch the trailing edge a little or get you a 15/22R. Personally you will gain performance with the true 15/22R instead of pitching your OEM prop. Speed gains will result seeing as there is around 300 rpm's left on the table. You have come this far. Get you a 15/22 and be done with it. It is up to you. You can bend the 15/22 slightly to your specs if need be.

Although it has a 8650 limiter does not mean it will jump straight to that, you either need to add something else to make more power and therefore RPM or you could take a little bit of pitch out of the prop so the engine will rev harder.

You will see a little more top end if you get it revving harder but it might be slower in chop as you will be closer to the limiter, just depends what you want really, also the harder you rev em the more maint they need.

    Hope that helps.

I know you said remaped ecu, but 50's sounds like a lot of fuel for a stock sc.

They are lean on the stock ECU, Les's ECUs tend to be lean as well so 50s will be safe, this guy is in the UK as well so it's cold and dense air over her right now.

The stock prop works really really well to be fair just needs a couple little tweaks to get it good.

What injectors was the re map done for??? If it was done for the stock 42s then the 50s will make it a touch softer on the bottom but safe up top.

IMO it's perfect for CC as is so if your just using around the course I'd leave it alone

What reflash is it? What injectors should be run with that reflash? You should know AFRs for sure. You could be hurting your engine.

If everything is okay, just depitch the prop a little for the rpm you want.
