    2008 GTX LTD "health"

    Hello all

Iv got a 2008 GTX Limited

Bought it with 16 hours, now has 33 hours (over 2 months)

Max speed iv gotten it to is 106kph (66mph) (GPS, averaged for river flow)
    Max RPM 8020

    Water temp 27C (80F)
    Air temp 35C (95F)
More than 1/2 tank of fuel

Does this all sound about right?

I believe the limited is 8200?

    thanks
    Luke

sounds about right for a stock ski, I beleive average is supposed to be at 64.5mph (on gps of course).

    Nice to know

Now to start modding - most likely 4" air intake, intake grate, maybe 2 wedge and new prop.

Ill do that when i need a rebuild

But that opens another whole can of worms eg external intercooler, fueling etc

Just leave the oem intercooler, whack in some 42 lbs injectors and be done with it. My RXT stil does'nt crack 70 but acceleration is impressive. Not sure if the 08's had questionable SC washers but if I were you I would pull it out and give it a health checkup regardless.

    Cheers
    Chris.

I believe 08 is fairly safe S/C wise (eg metal washers etc)

Over winter i will remove it for inspection, check the slip etc (and maybe replace it with a X )

I have an 07. Your ski is running fine for stock. Have fun on the modding.
