Cleaning and making new the Riva IC

hello guys, I am going to be ripping apart my ski this weekend and wondered if there is a way to make the IC back to new, I had my breather hooked up to the air intake for awhile and its a little oily, also want to make sure its not clogged how do I backflush it when out of the ski? any other tips?

    Thanks

Les Cooke personally told me he lets his ic's soak in gasoline. It might take two or three risings depending on how much build up.
