    Blizzard 2011 totals

    Blizzard? Post your storm totals here. Were suppose to get 8-18 inches. i hear Chicago is gonna get slammed 3 inches an hour... Glad I'm not in the ICE band.

    Im in Milwaukee and it just started...already 40 MPH winds.....we hat about 6 inches last night and are supposed to see 12-18 more by the time its all over tomorrow. I think my skis might end up completely buried in a drift.

    Snowfall here is to arrive around 3:00AM, and continue until tomorrow evening.

    Snow blower I will be pushing around is a 4-stroke. Last time it snowed I went through six shear bolts in two hours. Dang 2" diameter cut-off tree limb sections hidden in the snow (and not from my own trees)...

    I'm running a 21inch blade, 5 Hp Yardmachine with electric start. Running quicksilver 2-stroke oil at 50:1

    I also have a huge car cover for my truck that fits snugly over the entire vehicle. works great after the storm. just walk over and slide the thing off and your done. ready to go. I highly reccomend one.comes in handy in times like this.

    We had 48.4" in january alone and by thurs are predicted to get another 17-20". sleds are running good though I hate seeing my skis sitting under 3' of snow
