    WR500

    Hi All,

In process of rebuilding the old 500....

Having problems getting the flywheel off, the nut comes off easily and i have tried numerous gear pullers and it wont budge.

Is there something im missing or are they always a prick to get off??

    Cheers
    Dan

put some good strong tension on the puller and then smack the puller bolt with a nice big hammer. It'll pop right off so be prepared to catch it.

yeah i tried that with no luck, also tried putting a bit of heat into it as a desperate option - didnt want to get it to hot with the parts that are in that area.

Going to have another go at it over weekend.
