    riva hydrodrags news

I heard the drags will be held on november 6/7 and only once a year now, instead of twice a year it will become a bigger event this way, they are looking for more sponsors too.

Someplace farther from Porto Rico would be nice. I'd rather drive to Seattle for it.

The man is trying to set something up and getting bagged on, come on... I think it's a great idea, but everything I read about (other than insanely fast ski's) is drama... I think once a year in a tropical place in Nov is a good idea, gives sponsors a chance to save and dole out a little more for a bigger planned event. More people, more money!

I rarely post on here. I am definatly not bagging on the man. All I am saying is some things would NEED to change for it to be successful.

When I talked to Mike Young (new promotor for Hydrodrags) he indicated that there was only time for one race this year but plans on making it a 3 or 4 Race series with the finals being in Havasu during the World Finals. Mike Young is a very good promoter IMO and if anyone can make it happen its him.
