Rocker arms wonīt go in place ?
I mounted the cylinder head on my Seadoo rxp 06 after a valve / spring job.
I locked the cranckshaft and camshaft and did the timing correctly.
but I canīt get the rocker arm assambly in place no matter how I turn the engine I canīt tighten the rocker arm bolts whitout put tension on the valves.
One of my freinds just did a total rebuilt on his RXT and had the same problem.
He said that the hydraulic lifters will need time to go in their reight positions when they have been pulled of ? but I mounted my rocker ams assambly yesterday and nothing happens ? I can turn the engine by hand without any problems and nothing is hitting.

You have to put the bolts in in a certain sequence bro. Refer to the riva instructions.

i saw this on a customers RXPX this fall, the hydrolic lifters needed to bleed down. I snugged everything up and let them bleed down before i torqued everything in place. Make sure each rocker is sitting correctly ontop of the valve as well.

I tighted the bolts just like the manual says. But when I tighten the bolte i just press down the valves. When I put down my rocker arm assambly I canīt get the rocker arm shaft to lay in the half round recess in the cylinder head. I will have to force the shaft down by tighten the bolts and that way I will put tension on the valves.
Hope you guys know what I mean

as long as you get all six bolts started you can tighten them. You have to follow that listed sequence. Once u have them started u can tighten them and it will pull itself in place. tighten them all in a round robin fashion a bit at a time.

Some tension is no issue at all, important is to have crank and cam locked in place.
You also should go from right to left and check the 20 NM again befor you give the final 90 degree toque. Because even you go by the tightening sequence. Some bolts will have less then 20 NM after you done all.

mrracing is correct, re-check them when done. Use the order the paperwork says, and they almost pop into place.

I know all about to tighten the bolts correct thatīs not the problem.
Iīm asking in an other way:
If you pull off your valve cover and lock both the cam and crank. Wont you then be able to pull up and down in the end of the rocker arm closest to the valve and move it a little up and down ? Donīt you have to feel a little space between the rocker arm and the valve top ? better known as valve clearance.
