    Fzr and ecu

    Hi i want to mod a stock fzr for stock class changing only ecu. I do not want to go motec or vipec. I prefer a r&d reflash. More easy. My idea is to stay the more stock as possible like mods but only ecu.

    R2 or r3? How many hp gani and mph gain? For what read r2 gives mote top end and r3 more holeshot. Isn't it?

    But with these ecus do i need to change prop? I can't change my nozzle so ...

    It's going to be hard for anyone to give you any input on mph gains because most everyone that does the R2 and R3 reflashes have other supporting mods on the ski. More boost, intercooler, air intakes, etc.

    This is not correct. The R3 will make more power than the R2 from hole shot all the way to top RPM>

    Any time you increase power output you also need to increase pitch of the impeller.
    You might be able to increase the pitch of the stock impeller enough, but I feel you will get the best performance for racing from a Skat impeller.

    It might be worth it to contact R&D directly about the reflash you would want. They offer the R4 through R7 or R8 that are basically racing setups using better fuel. They would be the best ones to know/help you choose the right reflash for stock class racing......
