    GP1200R Flame Arrestors

I'm sending my carbs to get rebuilt and wondering if adding f/a's and rejetting is worth the price performance wise. My only mods are premix, d-plate, and some Riva heads I got when I rebuilt my motor last year. What kind of performance gains would I see with them?

Yep, well woth doing-if for nothing else than to get rid of the 70% throttle lean spot ( where most of the seizures take place)
Also do away with accelerator pump.
Specs-with Fa's-Cant remember-Il look it up for you when I get a chance.

Yes...I gained about 100rpms and much better throttle response and acceleration.

You will never regret doing this mod, this wakes the ski up. and eliminates a lot of other issues down the road.

if you look around on this site you will find a good deal on a carb that has some good mods and set up for your ski. It will cost about the same as doing it to your own. with the help of this site i just finished a gpr and an xlt and the difference was well worth the effort. Osidebill has a number of posts that give great directions that take the guess work out of doing the carbs. He will also answer any number of stupid questions that i needed to be answered.
