Help With Oil Pressure Issue.... Nitro?
The ski is a 05 turbo. It will run fine up to about 50 mph, then above that the oil light will come on, and engine will limit. it will be fine all day as long as you stay at 45 mph. Ive tried disconnecting each of the pressure switches, but it doesn't consistently help. Also, can someone explain the 2 pressure sensors? The ski did get half full of salt water a few months ago, due to broken reverse cable fitting. Thanks!

Is the single wire sensor on the front for pressure, and the 2 wire sensor on the side for oil level???

Believe you are correct their on the sensor's, I hate to say replace both of them but may be best, possible corrosion may be causing your problem if the engine received salt water in it.

Ok, found the manual online. The front sensor is for low speeds and goes off if press falls below 3 psi, the the 2 wire sensor on the side is for higher speeds and hoes off if press falls below 31 psi. So hopefully it's just the high speed sensor, and not a weak oil pump,
Do these hondas have history of pump issues?

I am not familliar with an oil pump failure on a Honda.

I'd recommend to change the High speed sensor and see what happens. I know it's not ski related but I had to change mine on my car which went bad and everything went back to normal. Good luck.
