    1999 XLT 1200 Sinking at dock

    My waverunner in taking on water while docked. it is a slow leak but if left over night it will sink. It is fine as long as it is moving. Where do I check??

    Welcome to the Hulk..

    Put it on the trailer and fill the inside with water and look on the outside to see where the water is dripping/pouring out.

    I had that problem on my waveventure last year and found out one of my drain plugs was cracked so it caused a slow leak. That may be a good check.

    also check to make sure the reverse, trim, and steering cable nuts are tight where they go thru the transom

    I HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM CHECK in tHE REAR DEPARTMENT WHERE THE BATTERY IS INSTALLED THERE IS A RUBBER HOSE ABOUT 4 TO 6 INCHES LONG ABOUT 1 TO 2 INCHES ROUND IT HOOKS TO THE JET PUMP THERE WERE HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF RUBBER HOSES COULD NOT EVEN SEE IT RIVA SHOP COULD NOT FIND EITHER I END UP RUSTING OUT MY CRANK
