    New user with simple question

    Hello i am new to the site and fairly new with jetskis I have an 03 gp1300, its got 180 hrs on it right now. i bought it with 110 hours on it, When is it needed for me to change my top end? My compression is still good. Also is it hard to change the top end yourself? thank you.

    If its running good and the compression is good....no need to change the top end.

    Its not too bad of a job to do.

    get a compression gauge or borrow one and see where your at.. do u have the dplate mod and did u get waveeater clips already???

    also may look into installing a D-plate, waveeaters, and check if the pump shoe brackets were updated

    i do have the D-Plate in it, i will look into the waveeaters, are they hard to install? pump shoe brackets dont look like they were updated so ill look into doing that to. thanks for the help

    waveeaters are simple... do a search on the updated brackets... I think there is a mark on the tag somewhere if they were updated by the factory. The factory recalled all the 03s for the bracket update... also there was a throttle cable update
