Total bonus out put of 400 million dollars while still oweing us (the tax payer) 26.4 billion dollars what a crock of shit! Makes you wander if the House and Senate are still going to get there cost of living raise while the rest of us suffer thru all this crap!

The entire bailout of GM was nothing more than a huge payoff to the UAW.
    (with OUR tax dollars)

GM= government motors. the current philosophy right now in regards to the economy is spend as much cash as you can. I wouldn't be surprised if this is some sort of attempt to us gm as a way to stimulate the economy.

Honestly i get they owe tax payers money but they make payments on that and the government took stock from the company. I dont see what the big deal is as long as they are making their payments.

Yep. What about the little old ladies living on fixed incomes who relied on interest payments from their GM bonds? Contract law means nothing to this admin. Why don't we see the same media outrage as when AIG payed out bonuses? Could it be because bonuses mean more union $'s to funnel to Obama's 2012 campaign?

They are using other gov't money to pay off their bailout loans...basically taking cash out of one pocket & putting it in another & calling it a payment. It's like taking out a $10K loan to pay off a $5K credit card balance & then declaring yourslef debt free. Net net is the taxpayer is getting screwed.

Just the US gov't making guys like Bernie Madoff proud. The same things that get you thrown in jail in the private sector gets people in gov't re-elected.

When I start getting contribution solicitations from his campaign I think I'll tell them I already donated on April 15th.

I saw a few weeks ago that the UAW has plans to start a push to organize
foreign auto plants (most of which are down south)
All I can say is good luck with that. I'd be willing to bet the UAW will be pissing
in the wind when trying to organize those workers. I think the UAW is overestimating it's influence when it comes to organizing those plants. There is a reason why most all the foreign owned plants are down south in right to work states.......
    NO UAW!
