    2005 rxp crank

    just asking at the moment but does anyone have a crank for a rxp 2005
    as mine is waiting to see if it can be fixed
    if it cannot i am looking for one
    so if anyone has one to sell can you let me know and how much you want for it

    i have a crank that came out of an 08 rxp that ran mint.

    08 has a different locater pin for timming.It can be done but has to be changed.

    Good info! I've used 06+ cranks with 02-05 PTO Covers, and vise-versa on probably 3-4 engine builds without issue (actually I find it easier just to remove the locator pin, and make 100% sure I have the crank trigger wheel clocked correctly, than to drill and re-install the pin) But I've never seen this info mentioned before in any BRP Service manuals, or tech docs. Out of curiosity what documentation did that page come out of? It's not like BRP to give info on part interchangeability, they usually prefer to keep you in the dark as much as possible and sell you a new item with a different part# on it

    I just drill the trigger wheel and leave the locator pin there.
