You have to remove the reverse gate, the ride plate and the nozzle bracket on the starboard side of the pump. On the inside you have to remove the engine exit water hose, It is the highest hose on the starboard side. It is the hose that exits through the pump flange. The temporary removal of the hose allows you to attach the new hose and tighten the new fitting.
