    Pistons? Pro-X vrs Riva Pro-Series

    Whats the best route to go

    Riva
    or
    Pro-X

    and whats the difference between the 8.4 to 1 vrs the 9.5 to 1

    I can tell you that you won't find a better piston than the Riva's, some of the guys have already posted how well they hold up under some extreme conditions. Those guys had really abused the engines (ran the hell out of em) and after tear down and inspection reported no wear on the pistons or sleeves. I havn't seen any negative post reported on them.

    I will put a vote in for the Riva's. Gonna put a set in the Turbo I'm building.

    Iam running the Pro-X pistons with no problems ...

    They are about 38-40 grams lighter than OEM ...

    Got the compression ratio thing but which ones will be better for my bike.

    Planing on pushing 14 to 19 psi boost

    maybe more down the road

    Stay with 8.4-1 for Super Charge application ... Thats if you are running a big SC

    im running the rivas 9.5:1 with 14 lbs (2 rude). seems to run fine even with our crappy fuel 90 octane
