    Full Race trim.

    Can someone describe in detail what this means? I hear it a lot but,,,,,

    Would that be something along the lines of getting your race wedge, trim adjustments on the tabs, changing your grate and?????

    Basically it's just like that.... It means setting your ski up for racing a course with MUCH LESS concern on top speed, and concentrating on acceleration, staying hooked up, keeping the nose "planted", and cornering.

    This usually includes much less trim, more aggressive intake grate, sponson selection and settings, propping for holeshot and acceleration.... etc.

    Depending on any given ski and level of mods, many MPH of top speed can and will be lost when set up in race trim. Some of the professional racers can scrub 10 mph of their top speed by concentrating on "staying glued" to the water and acceleration.

    CrazyA is 100% correct. A Pro785 in race trim will scrub off about 4-6mph off the top end with a focus on acceleration (Out of the hole or from Corner to Corner).

    Pro785 Super Stock Setup

    Rec trim

    4-6 Degree Pump Wedge
    Manual Trim to 2-4 Degree when released
    R&D 650 or 750 Intake Grate
    12/18.5 Impeller
    130-140lbs of Compression

    Race trim

    2-3 Degree Pump Wedge
    Manual Trim to 0-2 Degree when released
    Jet Dynamics Intake Grate shimmed 2mm down
    11/19 Impeller
    140-160lbs of Compression
