Need help getting skin into the 80s

I got Flyboys old ski and after a month or so it eat a piston. Its rebuilt now and running good. Only thing different from the mod list of when I got it and now is that its running a WFO fuel rail, a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and a return line. WE have the riva controler at 11,11,11,6 right now with the fuel pressure at 50 psi. Today it went 75.5 at around 7370 rpms with a 1200 nossle on it. I really wanna get it into the 80s.

Is that the correct rpms? 7370rpm on a 14/23 is great power. You could possibly pitch up for more speed. A 800 grate will be good for 1.5mph.
The rest of the speed will come from tunning the hull and the way you ride it. Rideplate angle....trims tabs ect....

It saw higher rpms then that. It was in the low 7400 for a little bit.

Nice, looks like my modded pistons worked! I talked with Chip about your setup and there is alot of speed left on the table.
