WTB- 03 xlt driveshaft and intermediate shaft/coupler

working on a ski-03 xlt, and the customer gave me the wrong setup. im looking for the correct drive shaft and intermediate. i believe the drive shaft i have is too short or the coupler is not correct. its not splining. or if anyone can give me the length ill measure. i think the problem lies in the intermediate

got what i needed. thanks crash hard!!!!

does the intermediate have the same diameter from bearing hsg to coupler, or does the diameter get smaller in the middle?

There are slight variations with the XLT's with 1 model year. I think the 01's are different. I wonder if he gave you one of those. I didnt realize and had ordered the wrong part thinking it was all interchangeable. The driveshaft on the new skies was shorter and the Intermediate was a little longer on the inside splines. If this is the case check the intermediate part number on the one he gave you. If incorrect it will make the proper drive shaft seem to short as its inside splines are set too far back for the 01 model year longer drive shaft.

    You have the GP1200R / XL1200 intermediate and a short (28 in) 2002 driveshaft

You can fix it by either getting the GP1300R intermediate or by getting the long (30 in) driveshaft
