    Low boost,5900rpm,49mph--260-crap!!!

My last ride 2 weeks ago was awesome: 8020rpm, 67mph, full boost.
Today, I warm it up and slowly roll on the throttle, and immediately I can feel it struggling. Boost and rpm's plateau @ 5900rpm, and 49mph, with boost struggling to reach 5 to 6 lbs. I check the belt -- it's good. I check and top off the oil. I check for loose hoses / clamps. All looks good!! I go to try another test run, now it sputters, so I return immediately. I put it on the trailer, now it hesitates to start, throttle is sporatic, and shows a code(?) of [FPD]. My next step is to pull the plugs. (too dark now)
Anyone got any ideas, suggestions ?
    Thanks

Check your spark plugs, change them to make sure they are not the problem.

Check that you get ignition on all 4 cylinders.
Check if you get fuel on all 4.
    Do a compression test.

you might be runing only on 3 cylinders?

sorry but your ski is NOT doing 77....................not unless you left all your mods out and even then I say crap at those RPM's, any's

No FPD codes in the manual

what kind of intake do you have

    Waz

    was it the FPO key

Because a SLO key doues similar performance

Yes I am sure he made a "typo"; meant to say 67 instead. I know Skisurfone and his ship is essentially stock. Really does sound like the Spark Plugs Cheng. Were you at Lake Millerton when this occured? And good point from Post #3, were you using the Orange Key; that's the FPO key. I would only use the Yellow Key (SLO) in case of an emergency. i.e, if you lose the Orange Key. JB

Thanks John, you're right, it was 67mph, not 77. Also right on the FPO, not FPD. Will edit.
I'm swapping the plugs today and will test on Thursday.

Have to take my quad to Havasu to pit for Mark Hahn race this weekend. Guess I'll have to wait till next week to test.

Tested today with new plugs ($80). No change !! Took it straight to the dealer. Hope it's simple (cheap).
