    Battery vent tube

1995 Polaris SLT750. Where exactly should the battery vent tube exit the craft. I'm doing some work on my ski and noticed the battery vent tube was connected to the oil tank check valve. I know that's not correct.
    Thanks

    Thanks
It vents out to the same style fitting but on the other side of the stearing pod, lift up the hood and you should see it

Or better yet, just use a sealed battery and forget about it.

But to answer your Q, yes it should vent out the rubber grommets in the hood/cowl area.

    ujustlost and xlint89,
Thanks for the info. I did indeed find a rubber grommet in the hood cowl area with nothing but a tie rap attached to it.
I had replaced the battery with a agm battery. I just wanted to get the vent line in it proper location and off the oil tank check valve. I tie rapped the other end of the tubing near the battery out of the way since as you know it's not needed with the agm battery..
    Thanks again.
