need help bad RPM can't find solution

    Hi everyone,

It appears that I have a problem with my ski a while back ski was going 8000rpm and doing 114 km/h nothing wrong with that. Put the gibson exhaust and suddenly a month ago rpm went down to 7250 but still doing 114 km/h.

Found that really strange how come losing rpm and still doing 114km/h, bought the rr ecu install the riva valve kit. then try the ski rpm went down again to 6850 and doing 109km/h.

Bought it for servicing, they told me to take out the xs intercooler and put it back oem to see if there is any changes, did it today tried rpm went down to 6600.

Ski is running fine, has a good start no strange noise or anything. They told me that it might be the gibson exhaust that is maybe too big for my configuration and therefore loosing gaz compression...

Does someone have a clue of what's happening to me? I searched for something similar on the forum but can't find anything.

    thanks in advance

There is nothing bad with the exhaust.
    You may have cavitation problem!
It is like you have a supercharger failure!

It should not be your exhaust.
Have you checked your slip on your super charger?

Are you measuring your speed with your speedo or a GPS???

The torque that your super charger clutch (shaft/washers) actually turns.

You find this point with a torque wrench.

Ok. Speedo is not an acurate way to measure speed, get a gps. As others have sugested either your supercharger cluthes are slipping or you have an exhaust leak. When you changed your exhaust it is a good chance one of your clamps are loose.

I would first check all your supercharger and exhaust clamps, then your blow off valve, then the Supercharger slip. I always try and eliminate the easiest things first.
