Sea Doo Supercharger Rebuild Service
This original post is from 2011, but all information is still valid.
Please read this post carefully before sending your supercharger to me for service.
Many of your questions about sending your supercharger to me for service are outlined below. If you still have questions after reading the information below please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
I charge $75 labor to perform a complete rebuild of your supercharger. This would include also installing after market parts such as a viton seal or supercharger impeller upgrades.
I charge $50 labor to just do a washer change.
PLEASE NOTE: these superchargers need to have a full rebuild every 100 hours, or every two years whichever occurs first. It is in your best interest to do a full rebuild, not just a washer change, if your supercharger is over 2 years old. Risk is high that it will suffer a bearing failure at some point if not fully rebuilt.
Please plan ahead and order your supercharger rebuild kit in the forums online store and plan ahead of time to ensure I have it in stock here when your supercharger arrives. I will only rebuild superchargers with genunine OEM supercharger kits. I will not use cheap Chinese knockoff kits or SBT kits.
I ask that you purchase the parts you need through the forums online store and in the comments section of the store leave a notation that you are sending in your supercharger for service, That way I hold your parts here and can expect your supercharger to arrive for service.
I do not stock any other parts here other than rebuild kits and supercharger impeller upgrades. If you are ordering other parts please do so on a SEPARATE order as those items will drop ship to you from either RIVA or R&D.
Please, when you order the supercharger rebuild kit in my store DO NOT forget to leave a note in the comments section of the store saying you are sending your supercharger in for service. This is VERY important. If you do not do this the supercharger rebuild kit will ship to you.
Please note: The shipping cost billed when you order your supercharger kit in my online store is to cover the return shipping of your supercharger.
Parts for your supercharger can be found here in the forums online store:
The supercharger rebuild kits I sell in the store are the latest genuine Sea Doo supercharger rebuild kits and they contain metal clutch washers.
Instructions on how to remove your supercharger are here:
You will send a check made out to Jerry Gaddis along with your supercharger to cover the labor cost. Please ship your supercharger to the following address:
504 Renwick Blvd
Berwick, LA 70342
Please do not forget to include the check for the labor cost when you ship your supercharger.
Please be sure to write your order number on the outside of the box.
Your supercharger will be worked on the day received and be on the way back to you the next day.
