Just got off the phone with local BRP dealer. They say the part number for the supercharger rebuild kit has changed.

    420881100 original
    420881101
    420881102 newest (as of May 1, 2012)

Can I ask which part number are folks ordering?
What is the difference between the 101 and the 102 kit?

Only the part number. All parts inside the kits are identical. Both use the molybdenum coated washers.
Seadoo only changed the part number to 102 when they increased the rebuild interval to 200 hours.

I just read what you said about the rebuild interval change. You guys rebuilt my supercharger last year do you still recommend the 100 hour or 200 hrs for the interval?

If it were my ski I would rebuild every 100-120 hours. I wouldn't take the risk of a bearing failure by stretching it out to 200 hours.

    Hi Jerry and everyone!
I just bought a used 09' rxp-x 255 yesterday and it has 92 hours on it....its f-ing fantastic to find out that ,right off the bat, i will be spending more money on rebuilding its SC LOL...this is the first time i own a pwc so im pretty clueless as to what needs to be done etc etc....
My question to you is what needs to be done right away as far as the SC rebuild and are there any other things i should worry about in the very near-to near future??
and is it worth is to get a OEM rebuild over a after-market (like RIVA) or x charger or whatever you guys are talking about??
basically, what do you recommend me buying to be able to use this thing for another 100hrs worry free???!! any extra mods (riva perhaps) you recommend??
    thank you very very much!!!!

Basically, what im getting at, is if i need to spend money on SC rebuild anyways or whatever... is it worth it or is there anything i can buy ,as expensive or a bit more ,that's substantially more worth it as far as performance gains or whatever?? like if i need to rebuild the SC..is there a better aftermarket one rather than the OEM that is better in terms of performance or build quality? or is it all the same??
what do you think of the stage 1 kit? whats the best bang for the buck, would it be possible to give me a short list of things that would be "worth it" to invest into my 09' rxp-x 255?? supercharger surge protector, blowoff valves, etc(BTW,i have no idea what im talking about lol)
    thanks again

There is only one rebuild kit for these things and that is the OEM rebuild kit.
There are aftermarket upgrades to the supercharger to increase boost. For your ski those would include the mini rude, Riva XX, ET upgrades.

If you have no modifications on your ski right now then the Riva stage 1 kit would be a great place to start.
