    Riva's plastic disaster!!

I already purcahsed a metal exhaust pipe for my own personal RXP and before I had a chance to install it look what happened to me!! This POS Riva pipe melted and my boat was almost an artifical reef!! Not only did this leave me stranded and had to paddle to shore and wait past dark for someone to rescue me, this is a potentially dangerous issue!!

For those that have not done so yet CHANGE YOUR POS PLASTIC EXHAUST PIPE with preferably a Rotax Racing metal pipe or equivelent. Don't let this happen to you!!

Riva should be ashamed and recall EVERY plastic exhaust pipe they ever sold. What genius would manufacture an exhaust pipe out of Fu**&^&%G plastic??

At the very least Riva should at least offer some kind of discount to those that have already purchased their plastic pipe and want the metal one now. Do they? NO!! Way to go Riva!!

Is it the delux or the striper bilge kit?
My exaust kit was missing the Rule bilge pump !
I need to call Riva and demand my delux bilge kit.

Well, if it came from them you can bet if it was free, their "kit" would consist of a few stryafoam cups and an in-depth instruction sheet on how to use them to remove any excess water in the bilge.
