    Idle adjust

    Couple of questions:
    1) What's the normal idle speed of the RXP meant to be?
    2) My idle adjust screw on the throttle body has a black cap over the end of it which turns by itself and not the actual screw - is this normal? Do you have to clip the cap off to do the adjustments? Didn't want to stuff around too much before asking a few folks here.

Idle speed is 1800 RPM's. If I'm not mistaken, it is computer controlled. The adjustment screw is for throttle cable adjustment.

Turning that screw will not change the idle. It will confuse the ECM and the engine will idle bad.
