10 Hr Sevice?
Do I have to take it into the Stealer for the 1st 10hr service to keep the warranty or do I just need to keep my oil and filter receipts to show it was changed?

No you dont have to take it to the dealer..If your 10 hour service light is on then you will to have it reset..All they do at the dealer is change the oil and filter,sometimes the plugs and out the door it goes....Youll want to change the oil/filter,check over all the bolts and give your boat a good inspection for anything that doesnt look right...IF you have the tools i would pull your SCer and check/reset the slip if needed..

Thanks Snoman,I may have a Candoo system real soon so the light wont be a problem. I have been going over it with a fine tooth comb over the last week and have a service manual on order for it. I was worried about if the stealer had to send something into BRP for the warranty.

Nope wont void the warrenty..they "Recommend" the 10 hour service...Its not something that is manditory..

Just depends on your relationship with your dealer! I did all my own 10 hour check items and then some, took it in for the Buds reset, and was on my way. If they feel confident that you know what you are doing, you will be just fine. When I swapped out the stock ECU for an RS ECU, they did it with NO problems, because it was a genuine BRP part. Some guys have had lots of problems with their dealers.......hit or miss?????

+ 1 , I never took mine in for it's 10 hr, BRP just warrantied the complete pump assembly on my boat and without any questions regarding 1st service.
They quite possibly could have told me to pound sand , the pump bolts backed out and caused damage on the pump tabs. They sure could have told me to beat it because that I never took it in for a first service.
