Riva rear exhaust pipe mod
I have a 2007 RXP with plastic exhaust resinator box removed (I have put in a straight alloy pipe to replace the box). The the ski is now louder than it was before due the resinator box removed. My question is if I fit a Riva rear exhaust pipe will the ski sound even louder than it is now or will it be around the same.
Due to some restrictions on some of the place I ride I do not want the ski to be any louder than it is now.

Welcome to the forum
You want have that drone anymore at 3,000- 4,000 rpm.
It wil be a tiny bit louder to others at wot with thru Hull.
But with stock waterbox it want be much, is my experience.

Welcome to the Forum.
In my experience, it's not too much louder. All it does is change the routing of the exhaust. you're still working with the same stuff, just a little different routing of the exhaust. I have riva free flow, and a shorty waterbox. It's loud, but no louder than the same setup with a thru-hull. If you stay out of the 3-4k range as mentioned, it's not that bad. And remember, they have to catch you to give you a ticket!

I would run it before you add more water.
I have ran jpipe with enlarged pissers with no problem.
Your not opening it up that much, there is plenty of pressure to spray.
