Just picked up a Sea-Doo in FL.

I just picked up a Mint condition 2006 Sea-Doo RXP from a cop that was lake driven. He was an awesome guy and straight up no bs. I drove around to see 3 of them in the past month and this was the Best deal. I am glad I waited and did not buy the first one I seen..lol

It has 40 hours and the thing looks like it came out of the crate. I have been reading here extensively nd seen the threads about the ceramic washers. I just ordered the tools and will pick up the rebuild kit at SBT since it is down the street from me.

Anyone here in the Land O Lakes area rebuild a SC yet? I am looking for a hand if anyone local can help out.

The first thing I will do is rebuild the SC and do an oil change on this thing before I take it for a ride.

This is an awesome site with alot of pretty sharp people here.

Welcome to the forum... neighbor! Get those ceramics replaced before you ride that thing again!!! Just a word of advice (my opinion)... invest in a OEM rebuild kit for your charger! I know SBT is close by, but that's not necessarily a good thing... if you catch my drift.

    Welcome to the Hulk.

I would only use an OEM rebuild kit for your SC. I have no feedback on the SBT kits but the SC is a time-bomb waiting to go off and IMO not worth the risk of taking out your motor.

So the SBT one is not OEM then? I plan to rebuild the SC first thing before hitting the water with this ski. I read the horror stories here.

I have a brand new OEM rebuild kit that I will not be using anytime soon-- the new -011 that has the ROTAX RACING washers that everyone wants--$270 + paypal fees shipped to the lower 48.

    PM me if interested.

Keep an eye in the classified section, they come up every now and then. It's off an X model ski.
