    H-TEMP Led

Sucked up some seaweed over the weekend and H-Temp light came on right quick. Shut if off cleared out the seaweed and then ran it for a while, light went off everything is fine. My question is should i be worried about the oil when it overheated, should i change it? Checked it and no discoloration.

your engine oil is probably fine. The engine is not cooled by water from the pump. It is cooled by the ride plate.

The warning light you saw was for exsast temp.

Hey nils how does the Ride plate exactly cool the engine? Is there some type of diagram showing how it works on the cooling!
