I just reread all my post and foundyou drilled out theRiva washer to 13.5....

What was it when it came from Riva? 9mm?

I am asking, because I have one fitting on my conversion I can drill out to around 9mm. And if this is the Riva kit size I am gonna do this and test.
If I go larger I need to find a different thru hull?

Bro I just measured 13.5mm and that is BIG compared to the 9mm? If the Kit is actually 9mm.

Do you have two water feed lines on the conversion? I had a engine water temp alarm go off with the RIVA washer on my OL. I put a different washer in that measured 14.8mm. I don't know if its to much water, but I never have had the alarm again.

Have you ever measured your engine temp after installing the bigger washer?

No, Sure haven't. I am running a different intercooler than most, so that may be part of the problem for me with the RIVA washer provided in the OL kit. Also, I am running a strainer right after the pump, so that maybe a bit of a restriction, too.

At this time I have two waterlines that measure 8.33mm! But I have not tapped the pump for the second line as I was thinking of just useing the one line as if the RXP set up.

James I PMed you as this is for my GPRXP, but useing seadoo pump and riva oL.

I guess I am gonna have to tap the pump and use both lines as I can not drill out 13 or 14mm in the transum fitting. Only around 8.33.

I can however re tap and die a new barbed fitting in the trasum that is more to the inside diameter fitting?

James, the information that ironhead posted is in the other thread. It lists both the original size, what size to drill to (13.5) and also before and after temperatures

Here is the info from ironhead and vspec1 on what to drill your restrictor washer to bro.

my runs at 160 at 1800 and at8550 210 had open up washer to 13.5mm now temp wot are 160 at 1800 and 170 at 8550 oil 210

    Riva: 9mm
    OEM: 8mm
    Enlarged for better cooling: 13.5mm
