    A/F bung in 08+ midpipe?

Has anyone tried installing an O2 sensor in an 08 and up midpipe? I have an 06 with the 08 mid pipe and 08+ Riva waterbox and i've heard horror stories of people messing up the 07 and older exhaust manifolds. I'm going to look into doing it tomorrow. I think i have a pretty good idea of how to defeat the water jacket but we'll see. Not looking forward to getting that sucker out though. Might be easier to remove the manifold since that Riva box does NOT like to move back.

Good luck with that..Not many places to do that unless you want to completely drill through and weld a threaded sleeve in....I have the same setup on mine and looked at that last year when i was doing mine...There are a couple of guys on here who can drill the 06-07 mannys...Beerdart and BigDaddyRXP are the two i currently know who can do this...

Use the M12 to M18 adapter that innovate sells that way you drill the mani M12 and there is no chance of hitting the water jacket. I have tapped many pre 08's and only hit the jacket on one.

I saw that Adapter on their Web-Site too, but was wondering if use of it would give different (slightly) AFR numbers since it distanced the Tip of the Probe further from the Exhaust stream.

Idealy you do want the 02 sensor in the stream of exhaust BUT it shouldnt throw the reading off to much with this adaptor..
