What color loctite for pump please?

    2006 rxt,
Taking the pump off I snapped three bolts so I had to tap and drill more holes... Anywho, what color loctite do I use for the different pump bolts? Or perhaps if anti seize is needed anywhere. Thanks

What the hell were you using to take them off with? Unusual to break any, much less three!! Wow!!

Just a ratchet. Those bolts were practically welded on there. I couldn't even extract the snapped remains with pb blaster overnight, torch, visegrips, or easyouts. Funny thing is the only bolt to free-up was with an impact then ratcheted out.

Yea, sometimes a "shock" is needed to break a fastener loose....

As a general rule if it gets hot or wet I use anti-seize only.

hehe. i broke one of those bolts off once when i was putting on my pump wedge. unfortunaltly snapped it off even with the pump. had to weld some rod on the end of the bolt and work it out with some vise grips. since i plan on changing props soon, i use anti seize and not loctite on them now, just check tightness after every go around (that's what i said)
