    Dry Battery/Wet Cell Phone

    Dry Battery
Have any of you used the Kinetik High Current Power Cells
I am considering runnig one. All of my riding is offshore and I often have the battery connections comming lose. The Dry Cell would allow me to lay it down and connect extra cabling (NEMA 2000 NetWork).

    Wet Cell Phone
I sell the SONIM phone line up in Bermuda and love em. With the 3yr Unconditional warranty, it takes a banging, and it can take a photo under the water, it get for PWC riding. You want to always be able to call home. The photos were taken with a SONIM Cell Phone.

Factory sealed AGM batteries are the preferred battery type for PWC use, have been for some time now. Sold under many brand names, be sure to choose a manufacturer that makes a high quality AGM battery.

AGM batteries don't leak, are highly vibration and impact resistant, and provide plenty of electrical power. Excellent for use in a PWC.

Loose connections - If the battery itself is securely mounted (cannot shift, flex or wobble while riding in rough conditions) and the heavy battery cables are also tied down (not just the cable ends, the actual cables) then the battery connections should not be loosening.

You may need to use a small amount of Loctite thread locking compound on the battery post threads. Make sure you still have proper metal-to-metal contact for the cable to battery, as the Loctite material is an electrical insulator.

GreenHulk's online store does sell AGM type batteries, including the well regarded Odyssey brand.

Note: AGM batteries are different from Gel batteries. AGM is what you want.

If you want the best in a PWC, go for the Odyssey......seems to be alot less $$$ then the kinetik also!
